On September 21, 2018 the president of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Zhang Jianjua visited the facilities of the Petroleum-Industrial Complex Jos\u00e9 Antonio Anzo\u00e1tegui located near the city of Barcelona Anzo\u00e1tegui state, to verify the progress of the infrastructure of the extra heavy oil upgrader of the joint venture Petrolera Sinovensa.<\/p>\n
The civil, electrical, mechanical and instrumentation works of the project that will increase the processing capacity of extra heavy crude from 105,000 to 165,000 barrels per day is being executed by the Venezuelan company Rafay Ingenieros & Asociados C.A. in strategic alliance with the company HQC.<\/p>\n
During the tour the significant progress of the work was verified, in previous months Rafay Ingenieros & Asociados C.A. successfully completed the milestone completion of the mechanical works of the work.
