Through the Civil Association Global C&D, representatives and managers of the companies MFK, Rafay, Ecomarket and Guaparo Group delivered 20 scholarships to students of different careers in the José Antonio Páez University.

The meeting was held on Friday, August 11 in the Conference Room of the José Antonio Páez University, where it was attended by María Inés Delgado, President of the C&D Global Civil Association, Rafael Eduardo Celis Delgado, Director of MFK and Rafay, Luisana Isler Vice President of the Association, and its General Manager Professor Alba Pérez Matos, who stated that:

“These contributions help to create a fund to carry out actions that improve the opportunities and quality of life of young people in the community, whose socioeconomic conditions put at risk their stay in universities and in turn the power to complete their studies.”

Professor Pérez indicated that the scholarships consist of the exoneration of monthly fees so that, in this way, young people who have demonstrated excellent academic performance, remain motivated and can complete their studies.

“We are convinced that education is the best way of development and progress for our country, therefore, this is the best bet of the Association and the business sector in these turbulent times we live and where a high student desertion has been detected in public and private universities “, highlighted Pérez Matos.

On the other hand, Dr. Haydée Páez Rector of the university ratified in her words of gratitude, the mission of the UJAP as “protagonist of education in the central region”, by enhancing the value of training human talent and the meritocracy to contribute to build the Venezuela of the future.

“In this act they reaffirm their institutional values, commitment, justice, honesty, social responsibility before each member of the Ujapista and Carabobo community,” she said.

Finally, the leaders of the Association confirmed that these scholarships are given, not only in private universities, but also in public ones and they informed that soon 30 more scholarships will be delivered at the University of Carabobo.

Representatives of Rafay and the C&D Global Civil Association met with authorities of José Antonio Páez University to establish an alliance that will allow them to contribute significantly to the professional training of Venezuelan youth and their insertion in the national productive sector.

The meeting took place in the facilities of UJAP’s university campus, with the participation of Alba Pérez Matos manager of the C&D Global Civil Association, Yackeline Peralta HR manager in representation of Rafay, Haydee Páez rector of the University, in addition to the deans and coordinators of internships from the faculties of Social Sciences, Engineering, Legal and Political Sciences.

“The main intention is to strengthen the relations between the academy and the company through actions that benefit the students and both entities,” said Yackeline Peralta.

Among the actions agreed during this meeting, activities such as the development of the internship program in Rafay, execution of degree work in topics applicable to the organization, anticipated recruitment of talent, dissemination of talent search to be part of the Rafay team among others are highlighted initiatives.

Finally, Peralta said that “this is just the beginning of many of the activities that Rafay has planned to execute along with the Civil Association Global C&D and educational entities in the region”.

Rafay completed the mechanical works at the Petro-Sinovensa extra-heavy crude Upgrader

On Saturday, June 30, 2018, within the completion of the mechanical works of the Petro-Sinovensa extra-heavy crude upgrader facilities at the José Antonio Anzoátegui Industrial Oil Complex, were distinguished by members of Petro –Sinovensa and HQC, our colleagues Jesus Bustamante, Efraín Pérez and Jesús Herrera as outstanding personnel in the area of ​​quality during the execution of the work, and Cruz Salazar, Jesús Herrera and Francisca Rondón as outstanding members in matters of industrial safety.

With the development of this work, the production will increase from 105 MBD to 165 MBD of extra heavy crude oil at the Petro-Sinovensa facilities, which will soon enter service for the start of the early commercialization tests.
